Mr. Yasser Assed Yousef Mohammad

Mr. Yasser Assed Yousef Mohammad is an Egyptian lawyer who graduated from the Faculty of Law, Assiut University in 1991 and admitted to the Egyptian Bar Association in 1992 with more than 31 years of experience in legal services, law, consultancy, drafting of memos, civil and criminal appeals, and legal affairs administration. He is a member of the Egyptian Bar Association, where he has been registered as a Cassation, Constitutional and Administrative Lawyer since 2013. He is also an active member of the Arab Lawyers Union and has been admitted as a lawyer in the Lawyers Admission Committee of the Qatari Ministry of Justice since 2017.

Mr. Yasser has represented many clients and provided legal advice on various disputes, especially individual or corporate civil disputes. He has extensive experience in a wide range of legal services, including all types of cases and disputes before the courts and judicial authorities of various types and degrees, drafting, and reviewing contracts and checking their clauses in accordance with the laws, establishing companies of all types, and providing legal consultations of various kinds. After working in several GCC countries, Mr. Yasser gained extensive experience and knowledge of the GCC legal systems and business environment. He has been working in the legal field in Qatar for more than 10 years.

His experience in civil cases for major companies has enabled him to secure important and distinguished judgments in civil and criminal cases, as well as rulings from the Supreme Constitutional Court in major cases. This is achieved through referring to legal references of top jurists, keeping abreast of the latest judgments of the Egyptian Court of Cassation and the Qatari Court of Cassation, and attending legal education seminars and conferences, as well as conferences with law students in Qatar.

Moreover, Mr. Yasser possesses extended knowledge and experience associated with the establishment of businesses and companies, general assembly meetings, governance, legal auditing and compliance rules of regulatory bodies both in the State of Qatar and the Arab Republic of Egypt as a previous Lawyer and Legal Counsel to the General Authority for Agrarian Reform and Ministry of Agriculture in Aswan (Arab Republic of Egypt); Legal Counsel to Kom Ombo Municipal Unit, Aswan (Arab Republic of Egypt); Legal Counsel to the Governor of Aswan; Director of Legal Affairs of Aswan Governorate; Legal Counsel to the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Housing Cooperative at Development and Agricultural Credit Bank; Legal Counsel to the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Aswan National Company for Agricultural Mechanization; Legal Counsel to Aswan Governorate Sugar Crops Council; and Legal Counsel to Franciscan School Group in Aswan Governorate (Arab Republic of Egypt).

Mr. Yasser’s practical experience is supplemented by his familiarity with contemporary legal commentary, both from judicial bodies such as the Egyptian and Qatari Courts of Cassation, and scholarly publications including legal journals and analyses of recent rulings. Further, Mr. Yasser prioritizes his continued understanding of the Qatari law by closely monitoring legal amendments, new laws, regulations, decisions, and opinions, and anticipating their application and the effect they may have on his clients’ interests
