Mahmoud Fathalla

Mr. Mahmoud Fathallah El Shafie is an experienced Egyptian lawyer and a member of the Egyptian Bar Association. He holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from Alexandria University, obtained in 1991, and brings with him over 34 years of legal experience, encompassing both extensive domestic practice in the Arab Republic of Egypt and international exposure in the State of Qatar.

 

Throughout his career, Mr. Mahmoud has provided comprehensive legal services across various areas of law, including criminal and civil litigation, personal status law, labor law, and specialized legal advisory. He began his professional journey training at reputable law firms, where he demonstrated exceptional competence in handling complex cases and achieving favorable outcomes for clients. This early success paved the way for him to establish his own law office, where he practiced independently until reaching the distinguished rank of Advocate before the Court of Cassation, the Constitutional Court, and the Supreme Administrative Court in Egypt.

 

Since relocating to Qatar in 2016, Mr. Mahmoud has continued to deliver high-level legal services at several esteemed law firms. He has taken on key responsibilities in representing clients in criminal and insurance cases, drafting legal memoranda, and offering precise legal consultations across a wide range of matters. His extensive expertise has contributed to securing numerous favorable judgments, affirming his deep understanding of Qatari law and procedural systems.
