Mr. Safwat Ebrahim Mohamed

Mr. Safwat Ebrahim Mohamedis an Egyptian lawyer admitted to the Egyptian Bar Association since 1996. He graduated from the Faculty of Law, Alexandria University in 1995.  Mr. Safwat has about 24 years of practical experience in the field of law and legal consultations and has extensive experience and knowledge of several Arab laws such as Qatari law and Emirati law, and Saudi regulations in addition to Egyptian laws.

Mr. Safwat has represented many clients and provided legal advice throughout the period of his experience on various disputes, especially individual and corporate commercial disputes. His scope of his expertise includes a wide range of legal services, such as handling all types of cases and disputes before the courts and judicial authorities of various types and degrees, drafting contracts, and establishing companies of all types, in addition to providing legal consultations of various kinds. After working in several GCC countries, Mr. Safwat gained extensive experience and knowledge of the GCC legal systems and the business environment through his extended service in commercial institutions, companies, and law firms in GCC countries. Not to mention the vast experiences he gained from working at many Egyptian companies and law firms as well as legal institutions and companies in GCC countries, especially in the State of Qatar, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates.

Mr. Safwat has specialized legal expertise, as he practiced, over the years of his experience, whether in Egypt or in the GCC countries, legal work in the field of disputes and consultations related to the field of maritime trade and marine insurance, whether related to ships, protection and compensation clubs, and disputes related to goods transported by sea, whether in Egypt Or in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, where he handled many disputes related to marine pollution, collisions, and compensation related to maritime transport of all kinds. He has also gained extensive experience in financial disputes related to securities trading from serving as a legal advisor to major securities trading companies in the State of Qatar, thus gaining vast experience in legal matters related to the Qatari financial market. He also provided numerous legal consultations and handled many financial disputes before the regulatory authorities.

Mr. Safwat also has extensive experience in legal matters related to the establishment of businesses and commercial companies, general assemblies’ meetings, governance, legal auditing, and compliance rules for regulatory bodies, whether in the State of Qatar, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Arab Republic of Egypt.
