Ms. Amy Saretsky

Ms. Amy Saretsky is a master’s graduate from the University of Massachusetts with experience in legal research and administration as well as qualifications in the areas of Mediation and Commercial and Legal Aspects of Sports Law. Amy also has extensive experience with intercultural communication and cooperation and brings this added value to dealings with international clients and contacts.

Leveraging her education and experience in the Qatari legal sector, Ms. Amy is an active member of ESLF’s International Department. She contributes to our firm’s English-language arbitration cases on behalf of our corporate and commercial clients under the rules of the ICC, the LCIA, and QICCA, and ensures all submissions, statements, hearings, and other proceedings are scrutinized and polished to reflect ESLF’s high-quality legal service.

As part of her work in arbitration, Ms. Amy also supports our senior legal counsels in the handling of arbitral proceedings both as counsel and as arbitrators. In conjunction with our legal team, she supports clients seeking advice from local Qatari counsel on matters such as arbitration clauses, jurisdiction, application of Qatari law, and enforcement of arbitral awards.

In acting as a primary point of contact for our international clients, Ms. Amy also provides support and contribution to corporate matters including mediation, negotiation, and litigation. She provides seamless liaison between our non-Arabic-speaking clients and our litigation team and prioritizes reliable, consistent communication. Our clients know that Ms. Amy is a dependable contact for services such as advice, consultation, document drafting and review, and other out-of-court matters that may arise.

In support of our senior legal experts, Ms. Amy contributes to the litigation, arbitration, and advising of many complexes, high-value disputes, and claims pertaining to public and private projects in the construction, engineering, hospitality, medical, and energy sectors. Not only does she bring knowledge and experience in these areas, but also has astute administrative and organizational skills that are indispensable when handling several intricate and cumbersome matters.
